报告摘要:

Low-field nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) offers a powerful, non-destructive way to investigate fluid and pore structure dynamics in geomaterials. Sensitive to hydrogen-bearing phases, low-field NMR enables quantitative analysis of porosity, pore size distribution, moisture content, and hydrodynamic properties in geomaterials such as rocks, soils, clays, and building materials. Furthermore, its unique sensitivity to hydrogen makes it particularly valuable for studying dynamic processes such as CO₂ injection, imbibition–drainage cycles, and freeze-thawing processes. In this talk, I will introduce the principles of low-field NMR and demonstrate its application in characterizing water-rock interactions and hydrodynamic changes at the pore scale, especially in clay-rich systems and unconventional reservoir rocks using 1D, 2D, and 3D NMR techniques. From capturing moisture distribution in soil to quantifying pore-scale responses during carbon sequestration, low-field NMR is transforming how we understand and model fluid behavior in geomaterial.

报告人简介:

奥地利维也纳大学气象与地球物理系 (Institute of Meteorology and Geophysics, University of Vienna) Tenure-track Assistant Professor,此前维美国堪萨斯大学地质系(Department of Geology, University of Kansas)Assistant Professor。本科毕业于中山大学,博士毕业于美国罗格斯大学(Rutgers University)。张弛博士专注于综合利用地球物理和生物地球化学等信息,结合物理建模,从微观和宏观尺度对地下介质特征进行精确表征,对控制地球介质和流体性质的物理、化学和生物耦合过程进行深入研究。近年来,张弛博士以第一作者(通讯)在Geophysics, Journal of Geophysical Research, Geophysics, Water Resources Research等期刊发表多篇论文,并应邀在美国、中国、欧洲和中东等国家和地区开展学术报告会50余场。张弛博士目前为Geophysics杂志Associated Editor,并担任AGU Near-Surface Geophysics分会秘书(2016-2018年),当选主席(2021 年至今)和主席(2023 – 2024年)
